Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Career Guide to work with young people aged 15-19 years, using a client-centered approach to help them achieve sustainable employment, education, or training outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with community organizations, local employers, schools, and training organizations to create opportunities for employment, education, or training.
- Conduct individual assessments and provide work readiness support or referrals to specialist assistance services.
- Develop case plans and provide employment, training, and education case management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of the local labour market and barriers faced by unemployed young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate young people and work with culturally diverse cohorts.
- Proficient skills in using technology and systems.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively towards goals.
- Possess an unrestricted full open driver's license.
