We are currently seeking a skilled Medical Oncology Nurse to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate professional to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of high-quality cancer care services.

About the Role

This part-time, permanent position will involve delivering evidence-based oncology nursing care to patients in a comprehensive Oncology Service provider. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic nursing care, high-level patient assessments, and referrals for optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compassionate and effective care to patients undergoing medical oncology treatment.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.
  • Collaborate with Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Recent experience in medical oncology, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care.
