Job Description:

The role will be supporting financial planning in the areas of Tax & General Accounting. This includes Preparation and management of tax relation streams, General Accounting reconciliations, Accrual Management, GL Posting, Regional Bill outs, Qtr End Revenue Recognition, Lease Management, SOX testing, yearly 10k Reporting, ABS surveys and assistance in insurance related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and management of tax relation streams - Income tax Return, Fringe Benefits Tax, BAS, Payroll Taxes by State & FTCQ
  • General Accounting - Reconciliations of General Ledger Accounts, Accrual Management, GL Posting, Regional Bill outs, Qtr End Revenue Recognition and assisting in the preparation of Statutory Accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Have at least 3-5 years' experience in a professional accounting position.
  • CPA or Chartered Accountants membership is preferable

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel and Analysis and Google Suite Reports required
  • Knowledge of internal control management, financial accounting and tax accounting required
