In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, including those with special needs and English language learners. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in areas such as teaching, assessment, and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and evaluate student learning programs, projects, and associated materials
- Conduct pre-training assessments and assessments requirements connected to contract delivery for the program/s
- Participate in the marketing and promotion of courses by liaising with industry contacts, networks, and learning communities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance processes related to program and course administration, design, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of training materials
- Identify, create, and participate in professional development relevant to teaching and maintaining vocational currency
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in the education sector, either in government, public, or private institutions
- A minimum of 2 years' recent experience working in an education role and hold a qualification in education or education support
- A degree, diploma, or certificate relevant to both content and academic level and industry experience relevant to Certificate III in School-based Education Support
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110), including Design and Develop Assessment Tools (TAEASS502) and Address Adult Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLLN4111) or (TAELLN401A)
- A thorough knowledge of current industry practices and procedures with demonstrated ability to initiate and maintain liaisons within the Community Services Industry
