We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our structural team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects across various engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities- Design and document structural engineering solutions that meet Australian Standards and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior staff in structural engineering and review structural models, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
- Prepare high-quality reports and other related documents.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other teams and disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and respond to RFIs during the construction phase.
- Contribute to business development and help drive a result-oriented culture for project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or relevant qualifications and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity, with a strong design approach and practical experience with structural design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain internal and client relationships.
- Proven experience in time management, organizational skills, and the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
