We are seeking experienced trainers and assessors to deliver high-quality training and assessments in commercial cookery. If you have a passion for culinary arts, excellent communication skills, and experience in face-to-face training, this could be the ideal role for you.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of professionals as we continue to grow and expand our services. As a trainer and assessor, you will be responsible for delivering SIT30821 - Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and SIT40521 - Certificate IV in Kitchen Management to international students. You will need to have a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessments to international students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results
  • Collaborate with other trainers and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient learning environment
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g. hospitality, education)
  • At least 2 years of experience in delivering face-to-face programs
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate administration/computer skills
  • Flexible and high level of self-motivation
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Qualifications:

  • The relevant qualification and experience at/or above delivery level
  • SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF TAE40116 CERTIFICATE IV IN TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT
