Key Engineering Leadership Role

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead our technology function, ensuring the stability of current systems while spearheading the development of a next-generation fintech platform.

As an experienced engineering leader, you will be hands-on in coding (approx. 25% of your time) to prototype, guide best practices, and solve complex challenges.

The Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the platform vision, driving innovation and growth through cutting-edge technologies.
  • Grow, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with product and commercial leaders to deliver scalable, market-leading solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Develop and execute strategies for re-platforming using modern architectures and AI-assisted development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leadership in B2B SaaS platform development, preferably in fintech or financial services.
  • A technical leader who is comfortable both setting direction and contributing code, with expertise across .NET, C#, REST APIs, SQL, and modern development frameworks.
  • Track record of leveraging AI in development and prototyping solutions, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills in a commercial environment.
  • Agile delivery expertise and ability to manage external service providers, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
