About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager Security Development and Emergency Response to join our Emergency Management team at The Star Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement emergency planning and response strategies to ensure the safety of staff and guests.
  • Communicate the learning strategy and development opportunities that support the Star Entertainment Group Leadership Capabilities, Star Qualities, and our Vision.
  • Maintain accountability of compliance and emergency management requirements and internal department processes in responding to incidents and emergencies.
  • Develop strategies to maximise emergency response capabilities and optimise efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a senior security and/or emergency/fire leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability developing and maintaining fire and emergency management training and operations, including fire panel operation, EWS systems, and fire graphics systems.
  • Understanding of casino rules and regulations (desirable), relevant statutory and reporting requirements, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and leadership of emergency tabletop exercises, agency response, and cohesive response to incidents and emergencies.
