Job Title: Out of School Hours Care Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate out of school hours care professional to join our team at Overport Primary School in Frankston. As an out of school hours care professional, you will be responsible for providing quality care and education to children aged 5-12 years old.

  • Before School Care: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
  • After School Care: 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Holiday Care: up to 6 hours per day

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering daily high-quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value
  • Supervising and supporting children during activities
  • Preparing and serving healthy food options
  • Creating an engaging and happy environment for children
  • Building meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders and the community

Requirements:

  • Engaging and warm personality
  • Strong focus on child safety and appreciation for mandatory reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services (or studying towards) or equivalent which can be recognised for children services
  • Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
  • HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (willing to obtain)
  • Available to work Monday to Friday
