Estimator Role

We seek a seasoned professional to join our team as an Estimator. This individual will have extensive experience in the concrete remediation sector, including expertise in FRP concrete, small-scale civil works, or remedial projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets in collaboration with project teams.
  • Manage tendering and procurement processes, including preparing documentation and evaluating bids.
  • Administer and negotiate contracts, ensuring variations and claims are managed effectively.
  • Monitor project budgets, track costs, and provide clear financial reporting.
  • Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Conduct cost risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Engage with clients, internal teams, and consultants to align on project cost outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Estimator in civil construction and remediation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of remediation practices, public infrastructure works, and local authority project requirements.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant Australian standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and estimating software.
  • High level of numerical accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
