About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Thiess' Mount Pleasant Operation.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a Greenfields project and help shape it into a World Class Operation. You will be required to work following a rotating 5/4, 4/5, 5/5 12 hour roster.

As an Electrical Infrastructure Specialist at Mount Pleasant, you will perform the servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of mine infrastructure facilities and large-scale mobile mining equipment as directed in accordance with Thiess maintenance systems:

  • Completing General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Services and Component Change outs to a high standard
  • Installation and maintenance of the machine guidance technology and fleet management. This is a great opportunity to advance your knowledge & skills in this area.
  • Installation of new infrastructure facilities as required
  • Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems
  • Maintenance of digital radio infrastructure
  • Assist with the maintenance of wireless and hardwire networks
  • Conduct required inspection to maximise equipment utilisation
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Electrical Trade Certificate of proficiency
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 & 3007
  • Electrical supervisors/contractor's license as issued by the Department of Fair Trading
  • Current CPR and low voltage rescue
