Zenviron, a leading engineering, procurement and construction services contractor, is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrical Design Specialist to join their Newcastle Office. Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, this key role involves providing quality, safe, and commercially effective engineering designs for large scale wind farms and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to be part of key growth across the renewables sector. As a member of the inclusive and high performing Zenviron team, you will have the chance to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in electrical infrastructure engineering design.

The successful candidate will deliver the design of large scale high voltage infrastructure projects, including system analysis and studies, earthing systems, substation primary, protection and control systems, secondary schematics and panel design, LVAC and LVDC systems, underground and overhead collector systems.

You will also lead electrical equipment specification and procurement activities, coordinate suppliers and subcontractors, and promote and support the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others.

Australian recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree is required, along with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia or eligibility to obtain. Proven experience in electrical infrastructure engineering design for HV substation or large scale renewable energy projects is highly regarded.

In exchange for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, estimated at AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, relocation assistance may be available to support your move to our Newcastle Office.
