Grounds Maintenance Professional Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Grounds Maintenance Professional. This part-time role involves maintaining the school grounds and buildings, ensuring they are safe and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.
The successful candidate will have experience in general maintenance of grounds and buildings, knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and trade maintenance, and understanding of machinery/equipment operation. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
- Undertake routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, weeding, and planting.
- Perform repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings and grounds.
- Handle, store, and distribute goods/materials.
- Assist with school improvements such as fencing, paving, and gardening projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in general maintenance of grounds and buildings.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and trade maintenance.
- Understanding of machinery/equipment operation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A current driver's licence and use of own vehicle (if applicable).
- A current NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment.
This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for professional development.
- The rate for this role is $33.73 per hour + superannuation.
