About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Workplace Engagement People. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of high-end residential and apartment projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of high-end residential and apartment construction projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Project Planning: Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with town planners, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all project objectives are met, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure adherence to building codes, regulations, and safety standards, and implement effective quality control measures to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a positive and productive environment, and identify potential risks and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress and report regularly to stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally with a focus on high-end residential and apartment projects.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualified in Building & Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building strong relationships with architects, designers, and subcontractors, and proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Desirable Qualifications: A relevant qualification in project management or construction management is highly desirable.
