Job Overview

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join our team for a newly awarded 10-year program of works for the City of Gold Coast. Main Responsibilities

  • Understand all commercial aspects of construction and utilities contracts and identify key areas of contract and financial risk.
  • Procure subcontractors and negotiate commercial terms in accordance with Company subcontracting protocols.
  • Manage subcontractor claims, including payment, variations, and extensions of time.
  • Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager, and the wider project team to mitigate commercial and financial risks.
  • Coordinate with project schedules to prioritize and ensure timely application of procurement processes.
  • Ensure internal monthly financial reporting requirements are met based on disciplined forecasting and tracking of revenue and costs.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with contract management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end procurement and contract formation in the construction and/or utilities sectors.
  • Sound commercial and financial acumen related to the construction and utilities sectors.
  • Experience in contractual notifications, claim preparation, and negotiation.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced skills in Excel and Word.
  • Experience with JDE or similar software is an advantage.
