About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lending Business Banker to join our Branch team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to Small Business customers through understanding their business and personal needs and assisting them with the end-to-end fulfilment of those needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate great customer conversations to understand customer goals and needs and provide relevant and timely solutions, including commercial lending up to $1M, asset finance, merchant facilities, and everyday banking solutions.
  • Proactively engage customers to support their business and personal goals, building strong relationships and trust within the local business community.
  • Be a brand ambassador, promoting the CBA business banking proposition and hosting small business education events to support the ongoing financial wellbeing of businesses.
  • Regularly attend key stakeholder meetings to build awareness of Small Business services and proactively work together to build referral partnerships.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial lending or B2B sales, with sound financial analysis skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent customer engagement skills, both face-to-face and non-face-to-face, with experience in facilitating conversations to understand customer needs and managing a pipeline of opportunities.
  • FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation and Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willingness to obtain this within 6 months.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
