**The role**

Located in **Hurstville, NSW**, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of a great dynamic team responsible for collecting on credit accounts for our clients across Insurance, Asset Finance and Banking and Finance sectors.

As a_Collections Officer _your main aim is to help organisations protect their revenue and assist commercial entities and consumers to repay their debts. You'll achieve this by connecting with our customers and tailoring solutions with a customer centric approach.

**Responsibilities**

Here’s an example of your day to day:

- Engage with customers in a professional and empathetic manner, providing top-notch customer service while assisting them in reducing outstanding debt.
- Manage inbound & outbound customer calls
- Build and establish relationships with customers with connection and trust
- Investigate, identify and establish customers financial situation
- Negotiate, implement and monitor tailored payment solutions
- Record interaction file notes ensuring meticulous record keeping
- Adhere to compliance frameworks

**Requirements**:

- Previous debt collection experience - desirable
- Exposure to motor vehicle insurance, asset finance or banking and finance industry - desirable
- An energetic, pro-active attitude to work

- Willingness to learn
- Experience in inbound/outbound contact centres or a challenging customer service environment
- A passion for customer interactions and ability to build and nurture professional relationships

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
