Support Worker Opportunities

At Home Sydney Inner West, we are currently looking for support workers who have a passion for providing high-quality care to their clients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

About the Role

This is an ideal role for individuals who enjoy working independently and have strong communication skills. You will be responsible for providing assistance at home and in the community, including transport, shopping, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and social and community access.

The successful candidate will have a minimum Certificate 3 in Aged Care/Disability, current Driver's licence, and access to a comprehensive insured vehicle. They will also require a current Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate, Australian Federal Police Check, and NSW Working with Children's Check.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to clients at home and in the community
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities
  • Assist with shopping and meal preparation
  • Offer companionship and social interaction
  • Help with personal care tasks
Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate from $36.18 per hour, plus shift loadings and superannuation. Our dedicated Care Coordination Team provides ongoing support and supervision, consisting of trained Enrolled and Registered Nurses.
