We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our team in Sydney.

Competition and Regulation Expertise

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to support the growth of their Competition, Regulation and Trade practice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of competition law and regulation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work in this area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with Partners and other lawyers to advise clients on complex competition law matters, including cartel investigations, litigation, merger clearances, and regulatory advice.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Experience as a Senior Associate in a leading private practice firm or relevant regulator experience in Australia.
  • In-depth knowledge of competition and/or consumer and regulatory law, ideally in both advisory and contentious work.
  • An excellent academic record, and natural commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong communication skills and an enjoyment for developing junior Lawyers.
  • An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously.
