Competition and Regulatory Senior Associate Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior associate to join our busy competition and disputes practice. We are looking for a highly experienced professional who has demonstrable experience in litigation, including briefing counsel, drafting court documents, and corresponding with opposing counsel, courts, and tribunals.

The ideal candidate will have between 5-8 years of post-qualification experience and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will be able to manage workflow and deadlines with minimum supervision in a busy but supportive practice.

Job Description:

  • Maintain and foster existing client relationships;
  • Support Partners Special Counsel and other practice group members to achieve group goals involving delivery of legal services;
  • Participate in professional development activities when required;
  • Litigation experience including briefing counsel, drafting Court Documents including pleadings, affidavits, applications, and corresponding with opposing counsel, Courts and Tribunals;
  • Be able to clearly articulate technical arguments; and
  • Research complex legal matters and provide concise and accurate summaries and advice to senior practitioners and clients.

  • Be a team player who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and assist as required by the team during periods of peak workflow;
  • Be able to receive and assimilate feedback from senior practice members;
