Job Overview

This is a 2-year fixed-term contract opportunity for a commercially savvy in-house legal professional to provide support across the business.

About Our Opportunity

The role will offer a broad range of legal and commercial assistance, with exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements
  • Providing practical legal advice to business leaders on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters
  • Supporting marketing, sales, supply chain, and procurement teams with legal input
  • Managing external counsel when necessary
  • Assisting with governance, risk, and compliance initiatives
  • Supporting broader projects and strategic initiatives within the industry

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 2-5 years PQE, with experience gained in a leading law firm or in-house environment
  • A strong background in commercial law; experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer sectors highly regarded
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a commercial and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • A proactive, collaborative, and hands-on style
