Job Title: Senior Client Service Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Service Officer to join our team at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.

About the Role

The Senior Client Service Officer will provide a broad range of applicant, tenancy and property management services and advice to clients, including those with complex support needs. You will work closely with advocates and other stakeholders across the access and tenancy service streams to optimize business and service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and support to team members to optimize business and service outcomes.
  • Manage relationships, partnerships and networks between communities and the Department to improve communication and access to services for clients.
  • Advise clients on tenancy and property management matters, including those with complex support needs.
  • Work collaboratively with advocates and other stakeholders to achieve service outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to improve communication and access to services.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to a culture of teamwork, excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Client service skills with an empathic approach to clients.
  • Strong commitment to customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience within a high-volume customer centric environment.
  • Solid influencing and negotiating skills and the ability to communicate information through written reports and presentations.
Essential Requirements
  • Possession of a minimum Provisional 2 NSW Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to undertake LEAP.
