Job Title: Senior Client Service Officer

Are you a motivated and customer-focused professional looking for a challenging role in social housing? We are seeking a Senior Client Service Officer to join our team at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with complex support needs. As a Senior Client Service Officer, you will provide a broad range of applicant, tenancy and property management services and advice to clients, as well as advocate and support stakeholders across the access and tenancy service streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and support to team members to optimize business and service outcomes.
  • Manage relationships, partnerships and networks between communities and the Department to improve communication and access to services for clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve client outcomes and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in social housing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
