Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of all sellable products.

You will be responsible for the logistics and supply of products sold to customers, inventory maintenance and control of all stock.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to continuously improve cost and operational efficiencies
  • Oversee inventory control activities to ensure accurate quantities of stock are purchased at the correct price
  • Identify areas for process improvement and provide advice to senior management
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors
  • Lead and support strategic procurement sourcing initiatives to deliver savings targets

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar leadership role, strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills, solid knowledge of transport, logistics and supply chain trends, and demonstrated commercial and financial acumen.

Requirements
  • Experienced in a Procurement Manager or similar leadership role
  • Experience with Exonet is highly advantageous
  • Excellent Stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate pros and cons based on price, quality, delivery and other factors
  • Solid knowledge of transport, logistics and supply chain trends
  • Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen
