Job Description

The successful candidate will lead a team of staff and service providers to achieve assigned tasks, meeting or exceeding key result areas. This involves actively promoting a safety culture, identifying task hazards, assessing risks, and implementing control strategies.

  • Promote the safety of people with a zero-harm approach
  • Identify task hazards, assess risks, and implement control strategies
  • Minimise lost time injuries (LTIs), high-efficiency incidents (HEIs), and environmental incidents
  • Issue work permits and ensure site attendees are inducted
  • Maintain operational availability at 99% at Yarranlea Solar Farm
  • Complete scheduled inspections and testing
  • Identify condition-based maintenance needs, obtain approvals, schedule, and complete work
  • Collaborate with technical staff to resolve solar plant performance gaps promptly
Key Responsibilities

The role requires effective management of resources to meet business needs, identifying skill gaps, and recommending training or recruitment. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of Risen and manage the CMMS system for job tracking and asset maintenance planning.

  • Manage spares inventory, ensuring replenishment after use
  • Improve contract management processes and work quality standards
  • Monitor and control resource requirements to meet business needs
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training or recruitment
  • Contribute to the development of Risen
  • Manage CMMS system for job tracking and asset maintenance planning
  • Prioritise, schedule, and support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • HV qualification/electrical licenses/electrical contractor licenses
Relationships

The successful candidate will interact with internal stakeholders, including Asset O&M Manager, Contract Support, and other Site Leaders. External relationships will be maintained with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
