We are currently seeking an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team as a specialist leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological services to patients.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in promoting patient safety and quality of care. You will also have the ability to work collaboratively with other consultants and healthcare professionals to achieve national, state, and service performance standards and targets.
This is a full-time opportunity based at Rockingham General Hospital, one of the flagship hospitals within the South Metropolitan Health Service. The hospital provides a range of medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as outpatient care.
The SMHS delivers quality, safe, and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching over 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of clinical practice guidelines and protocols, and participate in education and training programs for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners, and other health workers.

To be eligible for this role, you must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold Fellowship or advanced trainee status in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. You must also have a valid Western Australian Working With Children Check.
