About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Corrections Officer to join our team at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. As a Community Corrections Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders into the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide case management services to offenders on community-based orders, including Parole Orders, Intensive Corrections Orders, and Community Corrections Orders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support offender rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.
  • Conduct home visits and monitor offender compliance with court orders.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to provide a comprehensive support service to offenders.

Requirements

  • Current driver's licence and willingness/ability to drive within NSW.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Case management experience and high resilience.
