**Job Details:**

Position: Support Worker
Location: Traralgon Area
Shift: 24/7 with Active Nights

**Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in accordance with their NDIS plans.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
  • Implement strategies to promote independence, community participation, and social inclusion.
  • Support clients in accessing various services and activities.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services.

**Requirements:**

  • Certification: Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Support or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Support Worker.
  • Manual Handling: Proficient in manual handling techniques and procedures.
  • Medication Administration: Competent in providing medication as prescribed.
  • Level 2 Experience: Demonstrated experience working with clients at a Level 2 support needs level or above.
  • NDIS Knowledge: Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and relevant policies.
  • Empathy and Compassion: Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help individuals with disabilities.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliability: Punctuality and ability to commit to a 24/7 shift roster, including active nights.

**Salary**: $33.00 - $63.00 per hour
