Job Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Learning Support Teacher to join our educational community. As a member of the Learning Enhancement and Program Support department, you will work closely with students who require individualised support due to diverse learning needs.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will provide targeted educational support for students, working collaboratively with parents, staff, and external professionals. They will be responsible for developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs), conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with diverse learning needs
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure student success
  • Provide tailored support to students in small group or one-on-one settings
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and have experience working with students who require special education support. They must also possess high level communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
