About Our Team

We are a top-tier Canberra Real Estate team at Clayton Utz, seeking a highly skilled Law Clerk to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

This exciting opportunity allows you to propel your legal career by working with market leaders Alfonso del Rio and Adam Peppinck. You will be part of a strong team of law clerks responsible for managing high-volume conveyances and other transactions for major commercial and government clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will interact daily with clients and buyer's lawyers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • You will have full responsibility for file management, preparing and negotiating sale contracts and related documents.
  • You will consult with leading Real Estate lawyers on complex legal issues.
Requirements
  • You should have previous experience as a Law Clerk or Paralegal in a legal or professional services environment.
  • You must possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • You should have demonstrated drafting skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong sense of purpose and ambition.
  • You should be willing to work in a dynamic, supportive, and fast-paced team environment.
About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary Real Estate team that serves foreign institutional investors, property fund managers, government authorities, real estate investment trusts, developers, and other stakeholders on large-scale projects.

Our team is renowned for its expertise in urban renewal, major development, sustainability, sale and leaseback, and joint ventures. We provide robust legal advice and specialist government knowledge that gives our Government clients peace of mind.

The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 depending on experience.
