Job Description

The Triage Officer plays a crucial role in receiving, triaging and assessing all matters referred to embed robust systems and processes, deliver exciting and diverse projects and demonstrate innovation and commitment to integrity in the public service.

This involves direct engagement with referrers to seek required information and communicate outcomes. Key activities include taking initial contacts from the public, reviewing reports submitted of alleged corrupt conduct, seeking additional information about the report where necessary, and communicating outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing succinct summaries of reports, analysing the situation, and recommending a triage outcome. They will also work towards agreed productivity goals, perform ad hoc administration tasks, and adhere to internal policy.

In addition, the successful candidate will contribute to strategic initiatives specific to the business area and the branch more broadly, identifying and addressing training, system, performance and cultural issues in the spirit of continuous improvement.
