Job Title:

Green Space Operations Manager


Work with high-profile green spaces for one of our most prestigious clients, progressing your career in a hands-on leadership position. Lead a team of garden maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and meeting client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members, enhancing their skills and safety practices.
  • Perform various gardening tasks, including mowing, pruning, hedge trimming, weeding, mulching, planting, and general garden care.
  • Ensure all work meets high standards and is completed within set timeframes.
  • Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles safely.
  • Report progress and requirements to management.
  • Identify and treat pests and diseases.
  • Maintain high horticultural standards and attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens, or equivalent experience.
  • White Card.
  • WWCC or willingness to attain.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and develop junior team members.
  • Practical experience with gardening tools and equipment.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
