Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring accuracy and precision in design execution.
  2. Collaborate with civil engineers to translate designs into accurate and detailed drawings, fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork.
  3. Assist in estimating the materials and costs associated with projects, contributing to accurate and efficient project planning, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  4. Conduct site visits to gather necessary data, measurements, and information to incorporate into designs, ensuring that all project requirements are met.
  5. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet the project's needs and are executed properly, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  6. Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project requirements, demonstrating a commitment to quality and excellence.
  7. Maintain and update a comprehensive library of project drawings and related documents, ensuring easy access to critical project information.
  8. Ensure that all designs and drawings adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and expertise.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in design principles and practices.
  2. Proven experience in a similar drafting role, preferably within the construction industry, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant drafting tools, with a strong understanding of design software and technologies.
  4. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy, with a commitment to delivering precise and reliable results.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, with a strong sense of organization and time management.
