Firesoft People is a leading FinTech lending specialist that requires a dedicated Security professional to safeguard its client's information assets and systems against cyber threats.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Technology team. As the first Security dedicated professional, you will play a key role in protecting our computer systems, networks, and information from unauthorized access and data breaches.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect our computer systems, networks, and information.
  • Monitoring network traffic for unusual activity and analyzing security alerts to identify and counteract threats.
  • You will collect evidence for audits, complete vendor security assessments, conduct project risk assessments & monitor security events.
  • Drive forward our ISO (ISO 27001) program and take over the day-to-day running of it as well as driving it forward.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in an IT Security focused role.
  • Strong experience with ISO 27001 is essential.
  • You must have a solid understanding of firewalls, VPNs, data loss prevention, IDS/IPS, web proxy, and security audits.
  • Experience with network security, networking technologies, and network monitoring tools is required.
