Market Analytics Lead

We seek a seasoned professional to join our sales and marketing team as Market Analytics Lead. This role will oversee the collation, summarization, and presentation of market intelligence.

  • Timely execution of global market analysis relevant to thermal and metallurgical coal sales.
  • Collation and presentation of market and sales analysis for delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Guidance on sales strategy through deep analysis of sales book and identification of customer opportunities.
  • Ownership of relationships with external market intelligence and brokerage parties, including negotiation and renewal of subscriptions within budget constraints.
  • Ensure activities comply with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.

The Work Environment:

This position offers a flexible work arrangement with a Monday to Friday schedule, working from an office in Fortitude Valley with adaptable start/finish times and a redistributed working week giving employees flexibility to finish at noon on Fridays.

About You:

A successful applicant will be commercially driven, holding tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, and able to balance big-picture thinking with exceptional attention to detail in modeling and analysis. Strong written and communication skills are required.
