Job Title: Strategic Intelligence Specialist

The role of the Strategic Intelligence Specialist involves utilizing advanced data analytics to extract and retain critical information. This is achieved through the effective use of intelligence systems, including IOMS indices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • \
  • Compiling high-quality intelligence products in response to client requests\
  • Recording analysis in the IOMS intelligence module\
  • Sharing the outcome of the intelligence process with stakeholders\
  • Providing oral and written intelligence products in accordance with QCS dissemination procedures\
  • Supporting the development of intelligence plans, including collection plans and operational actions plans\
  • Collaborating with partner agencies under the guidance of the QCS Intelligence Group\
  • A valid C class licence is required for official travel\
  • The ideal candidate will possess nationally recognised training or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field\
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and interpretation is essential\
  • Familiarity with QCS dissemination procedures is highly desirable\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required\
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment is crucial\
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary\
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines is vital\
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment are essential\
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information is required\
