About Our Urgent Care Team

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Urgent Care Paramedic to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality frontline care to patients presenting to our urgent care clinic.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Triage and assess all patients who present to our clinic
  • Conduct comprehensive and accurate assessments to identify patient needs
  • Act promptly in response to triaged patients requiring immediate emergency care
  • Perform various procedural tasks such as suturing and plastering
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Deliver person-centered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners
  • Ensure patients achieve desired clinical outcomes through effective treatment and support
  • Provide essential health education to patients and their families

Our ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, critical-thinking abilities, and autonomy to work independently while delegating tasks when necessary. A minimum of 1 year of triage experience in emergency, remote, or urgent care settings is preferred, along with 5 years of post-graduate experience.

About You
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse or Paramedic with current registration
  • Previous experience working in emergency, remote, or urgent care settings (minimum 1 year)
  • Strong critical-thinking abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with others
