Job Description

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Collections Officer. In this role, you will work with clients to understand their financial situations and provide tailored solutions to help them repay their debts.

About the Role

  • Engage with customers in a professional and empathetic manner, providing exceptional customer service while assisting them in reducing outstanding debt.
  • Manage inbound & outbound customer calls to deliver results-driven solutions.
  • Build and establish relationships with customers through connection and trust, driving long-term loyalty.
  • Investigate, identify and establish customers' financial situation to inform tailored payment solutions.
  • Negotiate and implement payment plans that meet customers' needs, ensuring seamless communication throughout the process.
  • Record interaction file notes to maintain meticulous record keeping, adhering to compliance frameworks.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Prior debt collection experience, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • An energetic, proactive attitude to work, with a focus on driving results and exceeding targets.
  • A motivated and KPI-driven mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Experience in inbound/outbound contact centres or a challenging customer service environment.
