Import Freight Specialist

Are you a customer service specialist with import sea freight experience?
We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team in a role that requires expertise in compliance and administration. The ideal candidate will deliver excellence in client satisfaction through their ability to work well within a team and independently.
About the Role:
This is a key position within our organization, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of import sea freight operations and customer service.
You will be responsible for:
- Registering import sea documentation
- Reporting shipments to Australian Customs (SCA)
- Acquiring relevant documentation for shipping purposes
- Tracking all shipments, including transhipments
- Providing high level customer service
- Liaising with international agents, suppliers, and consignees
- Invoicing
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Import sea freight operations experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- High level communication skills - Mandarin & English
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Experience in processing and completing client invoices
- CargoWise knowledge and experience
