As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects and company goals. This position is based on a project in the Bown Basin and may require travel to various project sites to support timely completion.

This senior engineering role involves guiding and leading a project team and overseeing project tracking, reporting, and controls to ensure quality standards are met. You will work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a safe and productive culture with positive community impact.


">Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective engineering capability to achieve contracted works within client requirements and project plans.">
  • Lead and guide the project engineering team, oversee project tracking, reporting, and controls to a quality standard.">
  • Deliver outcomes individually and within a team while maintaining a safe and productive environment.">
  • Travel to and work on various project sites as required to support project and company goals.">
Requirements
  • ">
  • Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.">
  • Current Queensland Open Driver's Licence.">
  • General Construction Induction (white card/blue card).">
  • Minimum 5 years of experience at a senior level in civil engineering and construction.">
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction standards, legislation, and related practices.">
  • Experience applying project management principles in implementing client programs.">
  • Experience in managing project commercials.">
  • Ability to liaise, mediate, and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.">
  • Experience managing and providing guidance to a team.">
  • Competent in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and schedules.">
  • Experience in a civil-based business.">
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality programs.">
  • Strong communication skills; ability to develop project documents.">
  • High-level critical analysis and reporting skills.">
