Sonographers play a vital role in medical imaging, utilizing advanced technology to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.

As a Sonographer at our organization, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound scans with a focus on image quality and patient care. You will collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and guide patients through procedures while ensuring their comfort and clarity.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our team, bringing expertise in sonographic techniques and strong analytical judgement and decision-making skills. The ideal candidate will possess confidence using imaging software and related technology, as well as clear and effective communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound scans with a focus on image quality and patient care
  • Collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses
  • Guide patients through procedures and ensure their comfort and clarity
  • Complete imaging documentation and billing accurately
  • Contribute to a positive team culture built on mutual support and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Post-graduate qualification in medical ultrasound
  • Working with Children Check or willingness to apply
  • Australian Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
