Role Overview

The Radiology Registrar will be responsible for working in a variety of medical imaging settings, including diagnostic imaging, reporting and procedures within the Department.

Main Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a Consultant Radiologist, the Radiology Registrar will undertake routine diagnostic imaging, reporting and procedures within the Department, its annexes and other areas serviced by the Department.

Key Accountabilities:

The Radiology Registrar will rotate through a series of locations within each department designed to provide wide exposure to various medical imaging settings, while contributing to the provision of clinical services to inpatients and outpatients.

Requirements

  • Completion of a relevant degree or higher qualification
  • Eligibility for registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
