About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Surgeon to join our team at Austin Health, a world-renowned provider of tertiary health services, health professional education, and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure appropriate theatre lists/clinics cover across all sites where Austin Health provides plastic & reconstructive surgery services.
  • Demonstrate commitment to high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with medical, nursing, and other clinical staff.
  • Promote efficient, safe, and quality care across the continuum, showcasing exceptional teaching, training, and research capabilities.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Victoria (AHPRA)
  • Fellowship Certificate (Specialist Medical College)
  • Completed specialist training in accredited Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery program including exit exams
  • Demonstrated clinical practice at a high standard, well-developed communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English
  • Prior experience in microsurgery, desirable experience in clinical research
