About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus as a casual member. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing a quality speech pathology service to a general adult caseload who present with a range of swallowing and/or communication deficits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage adults who present with a wide range of swallowing and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal communication and swallowing outcomes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in speech pathology.
  • Demonstrated eligibility for membership with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
  • Ability to function effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proven time and caseload management skills.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Knowledge of, and commitment to, quality assurance and/or the accreditation process.
