**About The Role**
As a Habit Coach at Everyday Independence, you will:

- Support NDIS participants in **Northern Perth/Joondalup and surrounding areas**.
- Work at participant’s home or a community location (you will be required to drive to/from sessions).
- Support participants across all ages and stages of life.
- Work under the guidance of the primary therapist (Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapist, Key Worker or Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner), you’ll play a vital part in enabling the participant to develop greater independence and work towards reaching their full potential.

**What do you need to be successful?**
To work as a Habit Coach, you’ll have:

- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance OR
- Be studying Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year) OR
- Equivalent qualification

You’ll also:

- Be available minimum two (2) days a week to support participants during their afternoon routines (3:30pm - 6:30pm)
- Be open to travel to regional/surrounding areas.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Maintain clear focus on the goals and outcomes of our participants.
- Act professionally and always follow company protocol.
- Be self-motivated, reliable and can work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Demonstrated passion for working within the disability sector and make a difference in people's lives.
- A valid Australian drivers license and access to your own vehicle.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Working with Childrens Cheek.
