Job Opportunity: Legal and Commerce Teacher

This teaching role is focused on delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students in year 10, covering the areas of legal studies and commerce. The successful candidate will have experience in planning and delivering high-quality educational programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.

The teacher will be responsible for designing and administering assessments to measure student learning, providing constructive feedback and reporting progress to students, parents, and school leadership. They will also develop teaching materials, activities, and resources that promote critical thinking, real-world application, and inquiry-based learning.

To ensure the delivery of a comprehensive education program, the teacher will collaborate with colleagues and subject coordinators. They will also participate in co-curricular activities, clubs, or initiatives to enhance the overall student learning experience.

The ideal candidate will possess full Australian working rights, completed relevant qualifications in education, and hold current VIT registration. They must demonstrate previous experience in teaching legal studies and commerce within a secondary school in Australia/New Zealand. Additionally, they should be able to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years.
