This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students.

  • We are seeking a qualified teacher who can create engaging lesson plans aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, covering topics such as criminal and civil law, Business Management, Economics, and Accounting.
  • The successful applicant will develop and administer assessments to measure student progress, providing constructive feedback and reporting outcomes to stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will design teaching materials, activities, and resources that promote critical thinking, real-world application, and inquiry-based learning.
  • Additionally, the teacher will integrate current legal and commercial events into lessons to make content relevant and engaging.
  • Fostering a safe, respectful, and motivating classroom environment is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Collaboration with colleagues and subject coordinators is essential to ensure consistency and quality in teaching practices, develop interdisciplinary projects, and share best practices.

This part-time position involves instructing students in Year 10 Legal and Commerce, working closely with accessible and transparent leadership, and contributing to planning and coordination.

The school has around 950 students spanning years 10 to 12, an approachable management team, and smaller team structures facilitating effective planning and support. Opportunities for professional development are available.
