Automotive Paint Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a full-time Automotive Spray Painter role. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to transition into the earthmoving/construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining equipment and vehicles in a safe working condition
  • Conducting cyclic condition checks on stock machines to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Loading and unloading machines for transport in accordance with regulations
  • Delivering high-quality automotive painting services
  • Supporting technicians in the workshop with tasks such as pre-delivery inspections and maintenance
  • Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up-to-date
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment that promotes safety and efficiency
  • Contributing to a positive team culture

Requirements:

  • Essential experience working with hand and power tools
  • Prior Trade Assistant experience (desired but not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with heavy mechanical parts and machinery would be advantageous
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Awareness of workplace health and safety principles
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
