
Senior Business Development Manager

We seek an experienced professional to play a key part in generating, securing and winning projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all business development activities in Australia.
- Proactively generate leads and opportunities through research and networking.
- Lead tender submissions independently and collaboratively strategise, coordinate, produce and deliver PQ, EOI and RFP submissions.
- Assess and develop new opportunities ensuring they align with market strategy and brand positioning.
- Manage the pipeline of upcoming and current opportunities and report on progress.
- Contribute to and implement market strategies, supporting the creation of the strategic direction in Australia.
- Manage stakeholders and partnerships, fostering key relationships.
- Ownership and maintenance of BD and marketing materials, including updates and preparation of strategic and high-quality materials for outreach and pitches.
- Liaise and maintain alignment with wider APAC and Global BD teams.
- Support marketing efforts, coordinating with the global Communications team on campaigns and events.
- Provide business administration support to other business functions in an agile start-up environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A proven track record with a minimum of four years in the industry or a similar role, specialising in strategic business development and/or marketing/communications ideally within the design field.
A background in architecture or design is preferred but not essential. A strong understanding of the Australian real estate market is required.
A keen eye for graphics with skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and other graphics packages.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and verbal English, with strong copywriting and storytelling capabilities.
Strong ability to write concisely and distill key information effectively.
Experience in CRM software or similar is a strong preference.
A growing network in Australia and a strong understanding of the stakeholder environment, including clients, collaborators and partners.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, agile, dedicated and driven by a strong team spirit.
An independent and collaborative teammate who can bring a structured approach.
