Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in a key role that combines leadership, coordination, and technical expertise.

In this position, you will lead a team of trade and non-trade personnel to achieve key project deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental best practices are upheld across all project sites.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments prior to mobilization to identify potential hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring project tracking against schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Reviewing and compiling close-out documentation to guarantee client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintaining procurement activities to ensure work crews have the necessary plant, equipment, and materials required for efficient operations.
  • Capturing and documenting all variations and claims to facilitate accurate billing and financial management.
  • Guiding and mentoring project leadership in technical and construction practices to enhance overall productivity and efficiency.
  • Estimating and managing minor projects, as well as overseeing the electrical and instrumentation (E&I) scope on major projects.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant trade or engineering qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a management, coordination, or senior supervisory position.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fixed plant mining and other industrial construction projects.
  • Experience completing CMS documentation for on-site personnel and equipment.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary project environment involving civil, SMP, and E&I disciplines.
  • The ability to manage and execute end-to-end deliverables on multiple projects.
  • Flexibility to work away from home when required.
  • A current Australian driver's license.
